What is the extended warranty?

The extended warranty is an extended 1, 2, 3, or 4 year warranty in addition to the existing manufacturer’s warranty. Our extended warranty packages are available for all appliance brands, not just Liebherr, AEG, Gorenje, Porter & Charles, Fotile, and SMEG.

Example 1: An AEG appliance has an existing 2-year manufacturers warranty, with the extended warranty the AEG appliance would then have a full 6-year warranty.

Example 2: A Liebherr Refrigerator has an existing 2-year FULL manufacturer’s warranty, up to 5 and 12 years partial warranty. The extended warranty would give a Liebherr a FULL 6 Year Warranty and up to 12-year partial warranty.

Qualifications for warranty

For any appliance to qualify for an extended warranty plan the appliance must have been purchased in Canada and the extended warranty must be purchased within the first 12 months of the purchase date of the appliance.

How much does an extended warranty cost?

The retail price of an extended warranty depends on how many appliances you wish to cover under the coverage package as well as the retail price of the appliances combined before taxes and after any promotions.

What does the plan cover?
